Amil receives international HR certification
Health insurance company Amil has just received the Top Employers certificate for using best practices in leadership development, performance management, organizational culture, compensation, and benefits. The Top Employers Institute is a reference in the certification in Human Resources of the world.
The award rewards companies which have launched initiatives to create a high-level engagement environment and provide career and development opportunities. “The certificate is a reflection of the purpose of promoting the best working environment for our employees, adopting practices that stimulate the professional and personal development of each one, based on our company values, which are integrity, compassion, relationships, innovation, and performance,” says Catia Porto, vice president of Human Capital of UnitedHealth Group Brasil, parent company of Amil.
Among the company’s initiatives is the Programa Viver Bem (“Living Well Program”), based on four pillars to promote the well-being of employees: Health, Career, Connections, and Finance. One of the most compliant initiatives on the Health area is the Employee Assistance Program (PAC), which provides information and counseling to help employees and their dependents identify, plan, and manage various financial, legal, psychological using a team of specialists.
